Leading UK Rule Firm, Blake Lapthorn, selects NextiraOne as its associate for the consultancy, design, discharge and support of its next age group transportation platform

Lichfield 20 October, 2008. Europe s leading connoisseur in transportation services, NextiraOne, is providing the transportation road and rail network behind rule firm Blake Lapthorn s move to its new flagship bureau in Southampton.

NextiraOne has been responsible for the statistics cabling, Records Centre design and build, and has designed, planned and managed the fixing of a Converged Cisco10 100 1000 LAN road and rail network and unified transportation platform. The LAN road and rail network force include wireless and refuge requirements, both based on Cisco architecture.

Blake Lapthorn is one of the UK s leading rule firms, employing 850 population in five locations London, Oxford, Portsmouth, Winchester and Southampton . The Southampton bureau force residence more than 300 personnel and the statistics centre force hold the firm s centralised IT and transportation infrastructure.

Under the contract, significance in surplus of 1.3m over five years, NextiraOne has provided consultancy support and design knowledge from the early scheduling stages. It has advised Blake Lapthorn on how to support its long-term selling and intensification objectives by edifice a next age group transportation infrastructure

The statistics centre has been designed to provide a high echelon of elasticity in order to ensure selling stability and the firm has reduced its carbon trail at every opportunity. The new road and rail network force support Blake Lapthorn s increasing demand for mobile working as its personnel increasingly collaborate cross-location, cross-discipline, and with their clients.

The endeavor commenced in April 2008 and completed mid-September 2008. Vivien Eaden continues: These were already very aggressive timescales but thankfulness to NextiraOne s support and flexibility, we were able to relocate 100 personnel into the edifice in June 2008 as an interim move. All of the labor has been conducted to avoid any trouble to our legal staff. Response from the early movers was excellent, which was encouraging to the personnel that followed. I have an excellent IT side who have all enjoyed our skill of working closely with NextiraOne .
